Brayman Construction is Pleased to Announce the Addition of Jonathan Bennett to Their Mid-Atlantic Regional Location.

Jonathan Bennett, PE, D.GE, M.ASCE has recently joined the Brayman Construction Corporation team as Chief Engineer; Mid-Atlantic Region. Bennett holds a BS in Civil Engineering, West Virginia Institute of Technology; a MS, Civil Engineering, West Virginia University; and a MEM, Engineering & Technology Management, The George Washington University. His professional experience includes Chief Engineer, GeoStructures, Inc.; Director of Engineering Services, Terratech, LLC; Graduate Research Assistant, West Virginia University; Structural Engineer, Parsons Engineering Science, Inc. and Structural Engineer, CH2M Hill, Inc. Bennett is involved in numerous industry associations and is currently the Chairman of the Micropile Committee for Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), Anchored Earth Retention Committee Member and Co-Chair of the Micropile Committee for ADSC; Geo-Institute Member for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and also a member of the Structural Engineering Institute, ASCE.

Bennett has nearly 20 years experience in the foundation industry within the Mid-Atlantic region. He is the founder of the Micropile Design and Construction Blog (www.micropile.org), which provides an overview of what is going on in the micropile industry and updates on the activities of the DFI/ADSC Joint Micropile Committee, which Bennett co-chairs. Operating out of Brayman’s Manassas, VA office, Bennett will head the efforts to develop the Mid-Atlantic market for Brayman’s Foundation Division for specialties such as caissons, micropiles, temporary shoring, retaining walls, piling and other foundation applications.
