Brayman was a subcontractor for Washington Group International, contracted for the construction of the new barge unloading and mooring facility, as well as excavation supports for a new 400ft limestone storage tunnel. This project is part of the EPA ordered regulations for Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD). Specifically, the project consists of the construction of 12 new river cells – two (2), 45ft diameter, one (1) 30ft diameter, and nine (9), 20ft diameter. The project also included the installation of a steel platform and walkway for access to and from the facility.
