Brayman Construction awarded Masontown Bridge Replacement - Part of PennDOTs RT 21 Corridor Improvement Project

This $50M project will include the replacement of an existing two-lane, steel truss bridge with a four-lane, 7-span, 1,700ft steel plate girder bridge. The Masontown Bridge carries RT 21 over the Monongahela River and Norfolk Southern Railroad and is the first project to be implemented in PennDOT’s RT 21 Corridor Improvement Project. Construction will be staged so that the existing bridge will remain open to traffic so detours will not be required. Work is scheduled to start March 2012.
