Brayman was subcontracted to provide foundation support construction services for a windmill tower - which was part of a large wind energy project located in Grant County, WV. Included in the contract was the installation of 38, 9 5/8in battered micropiles to support the windmill foundation. Two compression, two tension, and two lateral tests were performed on the piles. These tests included monitoring equipment consisting of 28 strain gauges, 14 in-place inclinometers, and a running inclinometer.
