Old Stony Creek Dam

This project consisted of installing a secant pile wall on the right abutment of the dam. The secant pile wall consisted of contiguous, interlocking columns and was constructed by installing 24-each concrete filled primary shafts at set intervals, then secondary shafts were drilled between and slightly overlapped the primary shafts. A steel section was inserted and the secondary shafts were filled with concrete. Additionally, the secondaries required embedment into 10ft of rock.
