The scope of work entailed driving pile for two bridges on SR 2045. These bridges consisted of integral abutments, which have become more common in the design of small span bridges by PennDOT engineers. Section B10 required eight HP10x57 bearing piles, four of which were dynamically monitored and retested after a 48-hour wait period. Section D10 required 10 HP14x74 bearing piles, four of which were dynamically monitored. Both bridges had limited access as the SR 2045 is narrow with trees and power lines located near and around the abutments.
