Shenango Dam, Service Bridge Replacement

The contract work includes the removal and replacement of the service bridge for the Shenango Dam. The replacement of the superstructure consisted of the removal of the existing concrete deck and pre-stressed beams and installing new pre-stressed concrete box girders and concrete deck structure. All of this work had to be performed from floating equipment in the lake. The project also includes the refurbishing of the custom bulkhead hoist, replacement of the hoist’s monorail beam, lighting upgrades and an improved access roadway.
