Brayman Welcomes Cub Scouts for 2nd Annual Day of Learning

On Saturday, December 6, Webelos from Cub Scout Packs based in Washington Township, Hyde Park, Leechburg, Sarver and Ford City, will visit Brayman's headquarters in Saxonburg.

Brayman's Day of Learning Program was designed to meet all of the qualifications necessary to earn a Cub Scout Engineering Badge. Brayman Precast General Manager, Shawn Bowser, and several other specialists and professionals at Brayman are facilitating the program. The fourth and fifth grade boys will learn about bridge construction and the importance of safety through hands-on demonstrations and activities. As part of the program, they will visit several work stations and participate in a classroom project that involves bridge making and house plans. Upon completion, the Webelos will have met the qualifications to earn an Engineering Badge.

Brayman Construction supports the educational development of youth in our region and the Boy Scouts of America's mission to strengthen family relationships, teach healthy living skills, foster self-esteem and develop personal and community responsibility.
