Breaking Ground On Light Street Drilled Shaft Installation

Brayman Construction has broken ground on a 44 Story, 394 unit apartment building project at the corner of Light and Conway Streets in Baltimore, MD. Brayman’s portion of the $140 million dollar project is to install 110 drilled shafts ranging from 36” to 96” Diameter with depths exceeding 140’. 

Performing under an accelerated schedule, Brayman is utilizing multiple drill rigs to install the drilled shafts. The new foundations are being drilled through auger cast piles that were previously installed for a building that was demolished over 20 years ago.
