Multi-Phase Project: Phase

ALCOSAN Environmental Compliance Building

Brayman Construction was responsible for installing 26-each 36” diameter drilled shafts and 20-each, 48” diameter shafts with rock sockets with a 1’ depth for a new Environmental Compliance Facility for the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority in Pittsburgh, PA. The shafts were drilled using polymer slurry due to the depth of over 70’ and poor soil conditions. Brayman’s scope of work also included furnishing and installing the concrete and rebar cages.

The work was completed using two drills to meet the schedule requirements for the project.
