Oil-Gas Transmission Line Slide Mitigation

Oil-Gas Transmission Line Slide Mitigation
Brayman was contracted by a prominent oil & gas company to complete a slope stabilization project in rural eastern Ohio. The project was necessary to repair a land slide that occurred along the transmission pipeline right-of-way. Brayman installed the owner designed system comprised of over 50-each, 36” diameter caissons with minimum depths around 50’ including 25-foot deep rock sockets. The caissons were spaced roughly 4’ center-to-center along the entire length of the slide repair. Each shaft received a full-length rebar cage and ready-mix Portland cement concrete. Brayman preformed the complete scope for the project including construction of the access haul roads and benching, erosions & sedimentation controls, installation of the caissons, along with the final grading and restoration of the site.
